Where your data lives
The clearest way to understand how we handle your data is to know where it sits.
On your device. Your CV, the signals we extract from it, your assessment answers, and the insights you see are held in your browser, on the device you're using. They stay there so you don't have to re-enter anything as you look at different roles, and they remain until you clear them or clear your browser's storage for this careers website. You can remove them at any time using the clear controls on the Match panel.
Sent for processing, not stored. To produce the written insights, the minimum signals needed are sent to our AI provider to generate them. This processing is transient - the provider doesn't store your data and doesn't use it to train its models. The result is returned to your device.
With us. While you're browsing and matching, we don't receive your CV, your answers, or a personal profile - that stays on your device. If you choose to apply, your CV and application are sent to our applicant tracking system (ATS) as part of that application.
With the ATS. When you apply, your CV and application are handled in our ATS under our retention policy. Your match insights, bands, and explanations are for you - they are never added to your application or shared with our recruiters.
Conversational navigation
Natural-language navigation for this careers website - ask questions, search and filter jobs, and explore content, by typing or using voice. On the jobs listing it also provides filter and sort controls.

How results are chosen
- AI-assisted parsing turns your words into filters (for example, reading “Manchester” as a location filter) and finds matching jobs and content.
- We match keywords in job titles and tags.
- This may be wrong - always check the job details.
- Results are ordered by posting date unless you change the sorting or filters.
Voice input
- Voice uses your browser's speech recognition. Audio may be processed by your device or your browser provider.
- We don't store your audio.
- The transcript stays on this page unless you choose to submit it elsewhere.
Your control
- Clear what you've typed, or clear the conversation, using the controls in the input.
- Please don't include personal information.
What it doesn't do
- No hiring decisions, no blocking of applications.
- AI-assisted suggestions may be wrong - always check the job details.
Storage, retention & control
Retention
- Data held in your browser stays on your device until you clear it, or until you clear your browser's storage for this careers website. It isn't on a retention timer, because we don't hold it on our systems.
- If you apply, your CV and application are handled in our ATS under our retention policy.
Your control

To run this careers website and generate insights, we use trusted providers to process some of this data on our behalf:
- OpenAI - generates your match insights and suggestions.
- Cloudflare - infrastructure and performance.
- How we minimise data
- We send the minimum data needed for processing.
- Providers process it only to return a result to us and do not train their models on your data.
- Your data is not used for advertising and is not used to train advertising models.
