The 2026 Republic Airways® Plane Pull presented by Lucas Oil marked the 14th time we’ve gathered together with our community to raise funds and awareness for charities whose mission is to support and grant hope to children suffering from life-threatening or terminal illness.
The Plane Pull began as a celebration of Tyler Frenzel, a 9-year-old boy from Carmel, IN, who passed away from leukemia in 2004. Many of the organizations we champion today supported Tyler during his treatment. What started as a grassroots giving movement founded by our Associates has grown into an annual commemoration of what we can accomplish together.
At Republic Airways, we know we can’t succeed without the support of our communities. Dedication to our BEST Guiding Principles drives us to give back and provide our Associates the opportunity to engage with causes they care about.

The 2026 Plane Pull is an excellent example of one of the many ways our BEST Guiding Principles come to life through the passion of our Associates and our community.

This year’s Plane Pull saw 52 teams participate, and combined with the 345 guests at the Plane Pull Gala at the Lucas Oil Estate, raised over $850,000 for A Kid Again, Indiana Wish, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, Riley Children’s Foundation and several other children-focused charities.
This figure brings the 14-year total to nearly $7 million. An extraordinary number that is only possible thanks to our Associates, beneficiaries, partners, community members and especially our sponsors.
